> I am downloading a list of files and it keeps automatically opening each one as show moreit completes. How can I turn this off??? you can click on the "clear auto-opening settings" under the Downloads section in Chrome's advanced settings. This should apply to all file types - I can't find a way to just prevent one file type automatically opening.

Re my previous comment: Sorry, it doesn't necessarily work. It doesn't work for pdf files for me, show morebut this may be because of an "enterprise policy". This is speculation based on Chrome now reporting that its built in pdf plugin is disabled by an enterprise policy (although I know I originally disabled it myself).

1) Chrono Download > Options > Chrome > Hide Chrome's downloads shelf bar > Enable (temporarily show moreif you normally disable this) 2) Download the file e.g. PDF 3) In the Chrome download shelf for the downloaded file, click the little arrow for options and choose "Always open in system viewer" 4) Chrono Download > Options > Chrome > Hide Chrome's downloads shelf bar > Re-disable (optional) 5) Chrome will now auto-open that type of files regardless of what Chrono Download is set to

ummm... if you can, publish a premium version and use 10 USD, add that option and show morereport written to Chrome your requirement, if will work, if you ask for exception and have a whole idea, they will help you, I have directly talked with Google for problems with signature in free email.
